Custom Scientific Illustration
Original wildlife illustrations by artist Rachel Brooks. Scientific Illustrations of any species, created in archival pigment inks and watercolour. Whether it's your favourite quirky critter, or your own wildlife photo, I will hand draw your selected species in a classic natural history illustrative style. Art is created on premium 300gsm textured acid free water colour paper, for a quality art work which will last.
The background will be blank, in keeping with the art style, if you would like a full image painting please get in touch for a quote.

LEAD TIME - My current lead time for commission work is July - August 2024

A5 - 5.8 x 8.3 Inch
A4 - 8.3 x 11.7 Inch
A3 - 11.7 x 16.5 Inch
Larger sizes are available, please contact me for a larger piece or different styles.
PROCESS
Once you have completed your order please get in touch to let me know your species requests, and any additional requests regarding positioning, colour or text. If you would like your own photography to be used for the reference you can send this via email to artbyrachelbrooks@gmail.com
POSTAGE
Dispatch: Processing times for commission work vary throughout the year, if your order is time critical please check I can complete it within your time frame before ordering. I will accommodate this where possible. Lead times for commission work are approximately 3-4 months.
Domestic: Royal Mail Tracked (delivery aim 1-2 working days)
International: Royal Mail International Tracked. (delivery aim 7-10 working days). International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and handling fees which is the buyers responsibility. These vary between countries, all international orders will be posted with a customs declaration.
PRODUCT CARE
Every care is taken to ensure your art work arrives to you in perfect condition. The art is created on acid free paper, which is in turn wrapped in a protective acid free and water repellent glassine paper for transport. Shipped in hard backed envelopes to protect it during transportation.
When you receive your order please open it with care, only handle your print with clean hands, and frame your original art work to keep it in perfect condition.
When hanging your art place it out of direct sunlight.

Dispatch I aim to dispatch print orders within 3 working days, you will receive an email notification once your order is on its way.
Domestic: Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 available at check out (delivery aim 1-2 working days from dispatch)
International: Royal Mail International Tracked (delivery aim 7-10 working days from dispatch). International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and handling fees which is the buyers responsibility. These vary between countries, all international orders will be posted with a customs declaration.

Once your order has been placed it will be fulfilled by our global partners , who are able to ship our products from several locations around the world to ensure fast and efficient delivery. We'll be sending your order from the location nearest to you, not only do you receive your item quicker but this also reduces the carbon footprint of your delivery.
