Shipping policy

DELIVERY SERVICE - FROM THE STUDIO 

The following applies to original art, art prints, jigsaws, gift sets, stickers, cards and postcards. With the exception of larger giclee prints which are listed as being dispatched straight from the printer.

Deliveries from my studio will be by Royal Mail Domestic and International Services. Within the UK there is the option for Tracked 24 and 48 services for items dispatched from the studio, the delivery aim is 1-3 days for these services respectively once shipped, though this is an estimate only. I cannot provide any further insight than the tracking information you will receive on your shipping confirmation. Commission art, and higher value original pieces will be posted by Special Delivery.

International orders from the studio are dispatched with Royal Mail International Tracked, some countries will only show courier shipping as an option at check out, this is when there is not a tracked service available from your national post service. 

DELIVERY ESTIMATES (following dispatch)

UK Tracked 24: 1-2 working days 

UK Tracked 48: 2-3 working days

International: 7-10 working days 

Please note that delivery times are estimates only and not guarantees, I do not accept responsibility for items arriving later than the estimated date. During busy times, such as Christmas and the lead up delays can be expected for both domestic and international services

DISPATCH TIMES

I aim to dispatch items within 3 working days, weekends and bank holidays are not classed as working days. At times when I am out of the studio I will have an 'out of office' notification to let you know that there will be a slight delay in dispatching your order. As I do not have anyone else fulfilling items from the studio they will only be shipped on my return. 

For large size limited edition prints, please allow up to a week for dispatch as they are printed to order from my professional printers. This can be extended during busy periods. 

IMPORT & TAXES

For any items sent overseas I am required to fill in a customs declaration, including the items value, contents, and postal charges. 

Some countries may incur VAT, duties and handling fees. The responsibility of any associated importation cost is for the buyer. The levels and thresholds of these charges vary country to country, please check with your local authority if you are unsure before ordering. 

DELIVERY SERVICE - PRINT ON DEMAND

If you have selected any clothing items, drink ware or calendars (and art prints within the EU) these items will be shipped directly to you from our closest printing partner. 

Estimated dispatch times: 1-2 working days for t-shirts, sweaters and hoodies, 7- 10 days for all over print swim and yoga wear, 3-5 days for embroidered hats.

If you have ordered a print on demand item, and an item shipped from the studio you will receive your items separately and you will receive tracking information for each part of your order. 

Once an item is dispatched, I cannot tell you any further information than the details provided on your tracking information. 

MISSED DELIVERIES - INCORRECT ADDRESS, UNCLAIMED POST, UNPAID CUSTOMS FEES

If you notice you have input an incorrect shipping address on your shipping confirmation email please contact me at artbyrachelbrooks@gmail.com as soon as possible, do not contact me on social media regarding an order. If your item has not yet been dispatched I should be able to amend your address before the item has left.

Once your item has shipped I cannot change the delivery address. If you have provided the an incorrect address, your item should be returned to sender. In this case I will let you know when I receive your return and we can arrange to reship your order. Reshipment fees will apply. 

If your item has been returned to sender because you have not paid customs charges or collected from the sorting office, your order will be held at the studio until you arrange a reshipment of your order. Please reach out to artbyrachelbrooks@gmail.com 

Please keep an eye on your tracking information, especially for orders being imported into the EU, to ensure you do not miss any communications from your local customs office. Postage for incorrectly addressed or unclaimed items is non-refundable. 

PACKAGING

I have been shipping art internationally and within the UK for over five years, all orders dispatched from my studio will be packaged as thoroughly and sustainably as possible. I use 100% plastic free packaging with the exception of protective tube end caps which are required to protect larger art works and prints. Smaller art, prints and stationary products will be posed in 'Do Not Bend' hardback envelopes, with additional board backing. Prints and art works will be protected with a 100% recyclable water resistant paper and edges will be sealed with 100% recyclable Kraft paper tape to avoid damage to the print edge. Items that are printed on demand will be dispatched directly to you from my fulfilment partners by their offered service, this will be packaged in either plastic free packaging or post consumer recycled plastic packaging depending on location. If you any reason your order has arrived in a less than perfect condition please take photos of both the packaging and product so we can process a claim with the shipment company.
